Loop Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Loop handles, why it is used, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.

Privacy at a glance

1. Information you provide

Loop processes account details such as your name, username, email address, verified phone number, birthday, profile photo, profile color, and settings. Loop also stores content you choose to create or share, including photos, videos, captions, comments, messages, stories, Loop membership, reactions, reports, and blocks.

2. Device permissions

With your permission, Loop may access your camera, photo library, notifications, and contacts. Contact discovery uses normalized contact details to find people who have chosen to be discoverable; contact information is not displayed publicly. You can change permissions in iOS Settings.

3. Automatically collected information

Loop and its service providers may process device identifiers, app version, diagnostics, crash and performance information, authentication records, security signals, approximate network information, subscription status, and feature usage needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

4. How information is used

5. Service providers and disclosure

Loop uses service providers including Apple, Google Firebase, Google Sign-In, and RevenueCat for infrastructure, authentication, notifications, diagnostics, security, and subscription management. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to address safety threats, or as part of a business transfer. Loop does not sell personal information.

6. Media and shared links

Clear private media is restricted to authorized users. Loop may generate thumbnails, blurred previews, or share cards to provide the sharing experience you request. Shared links can be forwarded by their recipients; use revocable or expiring links when appropriate.

7. Retention and deletion

Information is retained while needed to provide Loop, meet safety and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. Some content expires according to the product’s retention settings. You can delete your account from Settings. Security, transaction, report, and backup records may be retained for a limited period when legally or operationally necessary.

8. Your choices

You can update profile and privacy settings, disable contact discovery, change permissions, block users, report content, manage notifications, cancel Loop+ through Apple, and delete your account. Contact Loop Support for access, correction, deletion, or privacy questions.

9. Children

Loop is not directed to children under 13, or under the minimum age required by local law. Contact support if you believe a child has provided information contrary to this policy.

10. Contact

Privacy questions can be sent to help@looplooploop.app or through Loop Support.
